Job Description

The First Group Hospitality, an exclusive private members’ club in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to support the delivery of exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and housekeeping standards across the club’s facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team across all club facilities.
  • Allocate daily tasks, schedules, shift coverage, and priorities.
  • Inspect restaurants, washrooms, offices, public areas, guest facilities, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Ensure all areas meet luxury hospitality standards.
  • Monitor team performance, attendance, grooming, conduct, and productivity.
  • Train, coach, and support housekeeping colleagues.
  • Assist with onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development.
  • Coordinate with operations, hospitality, membership, events, equestrian, and maintenance teams.
  • Support housekeeping requirements for VIP visits, private events, functions, and special occasions.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies, equipment, linen, uniforms, amenities, and stock are properly maintained.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report replenishment requirements.
  • Follow and maintain housekeeping procedures, checklists, cleaning schedules, and inspection standards.
  • Respond promptly to member, guest, and management requests.
  • Ensure the safe handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report maintenance issues, damage, hazards, lost property, and safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate housekeeping records, inspection reports, schedules, inventories, and incident logs.
  • Monitor hygiene, health, safety, pest control, waste management, and environmental standards.
  • Support cost control and efficient use of housekeeping resources.
  • Ensure all housekeeping services reflect the club’s luxury positioning and brand standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling member, guest, staff, and operational information.
  • Drive continuous improvement in housekeeping standards, efficiency, and guest experience.
  • Perform other housekeeping, facilities, and operational duties as required.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel, resort, private club, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping, hygiene, safety, and cleaning standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and team-management skills.
  • Ability to manage inspections, schedules, stock, and staff performance.
  • Proficient in English, with basic computer skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and special events.
