The F&B Associate – In-Room Dining is responsible for providing prompt, professional, and personalized food and beverage service to guests in the comfort of their rooms. The role ensures accurate order taking, timely delivery, proper presentation, and a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer in-room dining calls promptly and take guest orders accurately.
• Provide information about menus, ingredients, promotions, and estimated delivery times.
• Enter orders correctly into the hotel’s ordering system.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely order preparation.
• Set up and deliver food and beverages according to hotel presentation standards.
• Verify orders for accuracy, quality, temperature, and completeness before delivery.
• Present orders professionally and explain the items to the guest when required.
• Clear trays, trolleys, and used service equipment from guest rooms and corridors.
• Process guest bills, payments, and charges accurately according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the in-room dining area and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Record and communicate special requests, VIP amenities, and guest preferences.
• Assist with daily opening, closing, and stock-taking procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in In-Room Dining, Room Service, or Food & Beverage is preferred.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
• Professional appearance and a guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and order-taking skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Reliable, courteous, and willing to learn.
