Job Description

The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Linen & Uniform Attendant to manage the distribution, collection, care, and organisation of linen, uniforms, and textiles. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive, sort, count, store, distribute, and collect linen and uniforms.
  • Issue uniforms to staff according to role, size, shift, and operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of linen, uniforms, stock levels, issues, returns, damages, and replacements.
  • Inspect all linen and uniforms for cleanliness, stains, damage, wear, and quality.
  • Separate and report damaged, stained, or unusable items for repair or replacement.
  • Ensure clean linen and uniforms are folded, organised, labelled, and stored correctly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, laundry, hospitality, operations, equestrian, and procurement teams.
  • Prepare and distribute linen and uniforms for villas, guest areas, events, and daily operations.
  • Collect used linen and uniforms and coordinate their return to the laundry.
  • Monitor uniform returns, missing items, alterations, repairs, and replacement requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and secure linen and uniform storage area.
  • Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements to the Linen Supervisor.
  • Support uniform fitting, sizing, issuing, collection, and exchange procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling, transportation, storage, and care of all textiles.
  • Coordinate with external laundry providers and suppliers where applicable.
  • Follow all hygiene, health, safety, security, and stock-control procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, checklists, issue logs, and reconciliation documents.
  • Report shortages, losses, damage, maintenance issues, and discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure all linen and uniform services reflect the Royal Stables’ luxury positioning and brand standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling staff, member, guest, and operational information.
  • Contribute to stock control, loss prevention, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other linen, uniform, housekeeping, laundry, and operational duties as required.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Previous experience in linen, laundry, uniform services, housekeeping, stores, or a similar role.
  • Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, private clubs, villas, or hospitality environments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of linen handling, uniform management, textile care, and stock control.
  • Excellent organisational, counting, record-keeping, and inventory-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
  • Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and comfortable handling linen, uniforms, equipment, and stock.
  • Professional, reliable, punctual, organised, discreet, and service-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems are an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly desirable.
