Job Description

The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to support the smooth delivery of housekeeping operations and maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise daily housekeeping activities across the club’s facilities.
  • Allocate tasks, prepare schedules, and coordinate shift coverage.
  • Inspect bedrooms, lounges, washrooms, public areas, guest facilities, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Ensure all areas meet the Royal Stables’ luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Lead, guide, and support housekeeping colleagues during daily operations.
  • Train team members on cleaning procedures, service standards, and safe working practices.
  • Monitor staff attendance, grooming, conduct, performance, and productivity.
  • Report maintenance issues, damage, hazards, lost property, and safety concerns.
  • Manage and monitor cleaning supplies, equipment, linen, uniforms, and amenities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and complete housekeeping checklists and reports.
  • Coordinate housekeeping requirements for VIP visits, events, private functions, and special occasions.
  • Ensure the safe handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping Manager, operations, hospitality, events, and maintenance teams.
  • Respond promptly to member, guest, and management requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, inventories, schedules, incidents, and maintenance requests.
  • Support health, safety, hygiene, pest control, waste management, and environmental standards.
  • Assist with stock control, supplier deliveries, and housekeeping order requirements.
  • Ensure all housekeeping services reflect the Royal Stables’ luxury positioning and brand standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling member, guest, staff, and operational information.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of housekeeping procedures and guest experience.
  • Perform other housekeeping, supervisory, and operational duties as required.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, private clubs, or hospitality environments.
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a housekeeping team.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning, hygiene, sanitation, and presentation standards.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, delegation, and team-coordination abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, linen, amenities, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Understanding of health, safety, chemical handling, and workplace hygiene requirements.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Professional, reliable, discreet, and service-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting VIP guests, private events, or luxury hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly desirable.
