Job Description

The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi is seeking Buggy Drivers to provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation for members, guests, and staff across the club’s facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely transport members, guests, staff, and visitors around the Royal Stables.
  • Operate buggies responsibly and in accordance with site safety procedures.
  • Welcome passengers warmly and provide professional, courteous service.
  • Assist members and guests with luggage, belongings, equipment, and special requests.
  • Provide clear information about the club’s facilities, services, programmes, and directions.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable, and well-maintained buggy at all times.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks, including batteries, tyres, brakes, lights, and general condition.
  • Report vehicle faults, maintenance requirements, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow designated routes, speed limits, traffic procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Coordinate with concierge, valet, hospitality, membership, security, equestrian, and operations teams.
  • Support member events, private functions, busy periods, and special guest movements.
  • Assist with smooth traffic flow and safe passenger pick-up and drop-off.
  • Maintain accurate trip, vehicle, inspection, and incident records when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling member, guest, and operational information.
  • Ensure all interactions reflect the Royal Stables’ luxury positioning and service standards.
  • Remain alert and professional while working in varying weather and operating conditions.
  • Support the cleanliness and presentation of arrival areas, routes, and buggy stations.
  • Perform other driving, guest service, transport, and operational duties as required.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Previous experience as a buggy driver, chauffeur, driver, valet, hospitality associate, or in a similar role.
  • Valid UAE driving licence is required.
  • Safe, confident, and responsible driving skills.
  • Knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads and local destinations is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance, good grooming, and polished manner.
  • Experience serving VIP, high-net-worth, or international guests is highly desirable.
  • Reliable, punctual, physically fit, and safety-conscious.
  • Strong awareness of surroundings and attention to detail.
  • Calm and professional when working under pressure or during busy periods.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly desirable.
