Job Description

The First Group Hospitality's Exclusive Private Members' Club in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Membership Relations Manager to build strong, long-term relationships with members and deliver an exceptional, highly personalized member experience.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with members, VIPs, and prospective members.

  • Act as a key point of contact, providing personalized, attentive, and discreet service.

  • Manage the member journey from onboarding through ongoing engagement and renewals.

  • Develop a strong understanding of member preferences, interests, and expectations.

  • Proactively engage with members through regular communication and relationship check-ins.

  • Coordinate exclusive events, activities, and experiences to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.

  • Handle member enquiries, feedback, concerns, and service recovery professionally and discreetly.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential member profiles, preferences, records, and communications.

  • Develop membership benefits, privileges, and initiatives that strengthen loyalty and retention.

  • Collaborate with operations, equestrian, hospitality, marketing, and other teams to ensure a seamless member experience.

  • Support member referrals, introductions, renewals, and selected prospective membership opportunities.

  • Monitor member satisfaction, engagement, retention, and renewal performance.

  • Build relationships with luxury brands and strategic partners to enhance member benefits and experiences.

  • Ensure all member interactions and communications reflect the Club's luxury positioning and service standards.

  • Maintain a visible, approachable, and professional presence across the Club and at member events.

  • Represent the Club with the highest standards of professionalism, warmth, confidentiality, and discretion.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • 3–5 years of experience in member relations, guest relations, VIP services, luxury hospitality, private clubs.

  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with VIP and high-profile clientele.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a warm, polished, and professional approach.

  • Strong understanding of luxury service standards and personalized guest/member experiences.

  • Highly discreet, professional, and capable of handling confidential information.

  • Proactive and attentive, with the ability to anticipate member needs and preferences.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience managing member or client engagement, retention, events, and relationship-building initiatives.

  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of membership renewals and revenue, without being primarily sales-driven.

  • Ability to manage sensitive situations, feedback, and service recovery professionally.

  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages would be an advantage.

  • Experience within the UAE or GCC luxury hospitality or private club environment would be an advantage.
