Job Description

The Associate is to be responsible and accountable for all aspects of accounting and finance, Including but not limited to, financial preparation and reporting (in  accordance with USALI) cashflow management and management of annual financial year end audit (IFRS), implementation and adherence to best practise control procedures.

  • Working alongside the finance and operational teams, guide and be involved in the execution and preparation of monthly financial close -TB/Balance Sheet/PnL
  • Review, validate and approve JV's, balance sheet schedules and reconciliation statements
  • Be involved in property level PnL review monthly-performance of analytical review
  • Preparation of CF statements (direct/ indirect methods), and critically analyse cash positions with explanations monthly
  • Support, review and validate dues to property owners, support resolution of any financial related queries
  • Identify control/process weakness or inefficiencies, propose, discuss and assist in the implementation of any enhancement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with and support all stakeholder and senior executives

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant from recognised institution
  • Well versed in USALI, understanding and appreciation of IFRS
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in capacity of Chief Accountant
  • Outstanding analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel applications-SUN; Opera; Micros; FMC is mandatory
  • Advance MS skills (specifically MS Excel)
