Job Description

The Chief Security Officer is responsible for leading and managing the organization's overall security strategy, ensuring the protection of people, assets, facilities, information, and operations. The CSO develops and implements security policies, risk management programs, and emergency response procedures while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

 

  • Develop and oversee the organization's security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Lead all physical security, safety, risk management, and crisis response initiatives.
  • Assess security risks and implement measures to prevent, detect, and respond to threats.
  • Manage security personnel, contractors, and third-party security providers.
  • Conduct security audits, investigations, and incident reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational security requirements.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and other stakeholders when required.
  • Prepare security budgets, reports, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Promote a culture of safety, security awareness, and risk prevention throughout the organization.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of security management experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, investigations, and emergency response.
