Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and delivering high-quality culinary experiences. The successful candidate will assist in supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are consistently maintained.
  • Assist with menu preparation, inventory control, and food cost management.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering of kitchen supplies when required.
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff to maintain operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
  • Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen schedules and workflow.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role in hospitality.
  • Strong culinary and kitchen management skills.
  • Good leadership and teamwork abilities.
