Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes according to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items.
  • Prepare ingredients and support kitchen operations as directed by senior chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
  • Ensure food preparation and storage meet hygiene and safety standards.
  • Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
  • Comply with hotel policies, food safety, and health regulations.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Previous kitchen or culinary experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Professional attitude and passion for hospitality.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
