Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in all public areas of the hotel to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain hotel public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and other guest areas.
  • Ensure all public spaces are neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, tissue, and sanitizing products in public restrooms.
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Follow hotel cleaning procedures, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist housekeeping team members when required.
  • Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning operations is preferred.
  • Good attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during shifts.
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
