The Senior Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests in pool and/or beach areas while supervising and supporting the lifeguard team. This role includes overseeing daily operations, enforcing safety standards, and responding to emergencies, while maintaining excellent guest service in a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of lifeguards on duty.
• Monitor pool and/or beach areas to ensure the highest level of safety at all times.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations consistently and professionally.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, providing rescue, first aid, and CPR as required.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Ensure all lifesaving equipment is available, functional, and properly maintained.
• Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to lifeguards.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and daily operations.
• Liaise with management and coordinate with security and other departments when needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of poolside/beach areas.
• Support emergency drills and evacuation procedures.

• Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent observation and quick decision-making abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and take charge in emergency situations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
