The Sales Manager – Leisure Segment is responsible for driving leisure business for The First Group Hospitality’s Dubai hotel portfolio. The role focuses on managing key leisure accounts, developing new partnerships, and strengthening the brand’s position in major source markets. Given the importance of Europe and other feeder markets, the ideal candidate must be able and willing to travel as required for sales missions, trade shows, and client visits. This position requires a proactive, well-connected, and commercially driven individual with strong knowledge of global leisure travel trends.
Manage and grow a portfolio of leisure accounts, including tour operators, travel agencies, DMCs, and online partners.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across existing and emerging leisure source markets.
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and product presentations.
Represent the hotel portfolio at trade shows, roadshows, exhibitions, and sales missions in Europe and other key markets.
Negotiate contracts, rate agreements, and promotional offers in line with company strategy.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business performance to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare business reviews, account development plans, and regular performance reports.
Maintain accurate account information, activities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to ensure competitive pricing, alignment on demand forecasts, and an excellent guest experience.
Assist the Cluster Director of Sales – Leisure and management with sales strategies or any other assigned tasks as needed.
Minimum 2–4 years of hotel sales experience, preferably within the Leisure segment.
Strong network of leisure travel partners, particularly within European and other key feeder markets.
Ability and willingness to travel internationally—especially to Europe—for extended sales activities.
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Solid understanding of leisure distribution channels, contracting cycles, and market dynamics.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems such as Opera, Delphi, or similar.
Strong analytical, organisational, and planning abilities.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages (German, French, Italian, etc.) are a strong advantage.
UAE experience is preferred.
UAE driving licence is preferred.
