The Commis III Intern supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation and service. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment, helping the intern develop basic culinary skills, understand kitchen operations, and learn food hygiene and safety standards.
Assist chefs with daily mise-en-place and food preparation.
Follow instructions and recipes provided by senior kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and storage areas.
Support with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
Ensure all food is handled and stored according to hygiene and safety standards.
Assist in basic cooking, plating, and presentation under supervision.
Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning to improve culinary knowledge and skills.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervising chef or kitchen manager.
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
Eagerness to learn and develop practical culinary skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
