Job Description

As the Ciel Connect Supervisor, you will lead the hotel’s internal communications hub, overseeing the team responsible for handling all telephone, guest messaging, wake-up calls, and emergency communication systems. Your role ensures seamless and professional guest interaction via all communication platforms, setting the tone for an exceptional experience from the very first call.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Ciel Connect (telephone operator) team to ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service.

  • Handle guest calls and internal communications in line with brand standards and service protocols.

  • Monitor call quality, response time, and messaging accuracy to maintain communication excellence.

  • Train and guide Ciel Connect team members on communication etiquette, emergency procedures, and hotel systems.

  • Coordinate wake-up call schedules, guest requests, and VIP preferences with relevant departments.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for emergency communication and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with IT and Engineering for technical support related to telephone and call system operations.

  • Monitor daily call logs and shift reports, and escalate issues to management as needed.

  • Continuously seek ways to enhance service delivery through technology and team development.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a telephone operator or call center role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

  • Hospitality or luxury hotel background strongly preferred.

  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera PMS and PBX consoles.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage emergency communication confidently.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on guest service and internal coordination.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
