Job Description

The Restaurants Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one or more restaurant outlets, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, profitability, and team performance. This role focuses on guest satisfaction, quality control, compliance, and continuous improvement across the dining experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of all restaurant outlets, ensuring consistency in service, food quality, and ambiance.

  • Lead, train, and motivate restaurant managers, supervisors, and service staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

  • Monitor dining room flow, guest interactions, and overall atmosphere during service hours.

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity, efficiency, and consistency.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu planning, costing, and seasonal promotions.

  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations and maintain all necessary certifications.

  • Analyze financial reports, control costs, and optimize revenue through strategic planning and upselling techniques.

  • Manage budgets, labor scheduling, inventory control, and procurement processes.

  • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.

  • Drive staff engagement through recognition, performance management, and development plans.

  • Oversee restaurant marketing initiatives in collaboration with the sales and marketing team.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance the dining experience.

Desired Skill & Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant or food & beverage management, with at least 2 years in a senior or multi-outlet role.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Proven track record of managing budgets, forecasting, and improving profitability.

  • Knowledge of POS systems, inventory software, and financial reporting tools.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
