As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest. You will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to inspire excellence in a diverse team. Your role will involve daily operations, staff development, guest engagement, and financial performance, all while upholding the brand’s highest standards.
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently delivered.
Lead by example on the floor during service, supporting the team and engaging with guests to create personalized dining experiences.
Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and guest-centric service.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with efficiency, grace, and professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams.
Assist in scheduling, payroll input, and ensuring adequate staffing levels based on business demands.
Monitor inventory, supplies, and operational equipment, placing orders and controlling costs where appropriate.
Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards in line with local regulations and brand expectations.
Support in driving revenue through effective upselling, promotions, and guest engagement strategies.
Analyze service reports and guest feedback to recommend improvements and elevate service delivery.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in a high-end or luxury restaurant/hotel environment, including supervisory experience.
Strong leadership presence with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage high-pressure service periods with calm efficiency.
Knowledge of restaurant POS systems, reservation platforms, and Microsoft Office.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
